Amazing floor globe dating back to the 1960s that once was on display in the National Geographic headquarters in Washington, D.C. This is an illuminating model that makes a great conversation piece and provides beautiful accent light. The globe has retained its original name plate (pictured). Overall, both globe and stand are in very nice condition. The walnut stand has a few scuffs to the finish but shows very well given its age.
