American artist Paul Soldner (1921-2011) was an influencial potter, known for his "reinvention" of raku style pottery, which came to be known as "American Raku." A great example of his work, this piece measures 5.5" tall, with a rim measurement of 5 7/8". The glaze has typical raku texture, and the glaze is dark brown and blue.
