MILO BAUGHMAN BURL NIGHT STANDS
Nice example of High Point designer's popular work for Lane Company. Stands work well as night tables or end tables. Burl shows nicely with some lacquer distress on tops. Drawers open and close smoothly but bottom drawers are slightly loose in their tracks. Price is for the pair.
LAUREL GLASS & CHROME FLOOR LAMP
Great looking and useful floor lamp from one of great lighting makers of the period. Lamp is constructed of metal and smoked glass. All surfaces are in good condition with only minor wear. The lamp is in good working condition but all vintage lighting should be inspected by an electrician before everyday use. Because of the size and the glass table, this item will be shipped by blanket wrap courier. Lamp does not include shade pictured.
LAUREL GLASS & CHROME FLOOR LAMP
Great looking early example of the iconic Eames rocker. Shell is the classic elephant hide grey and shows ample fiber. Both shell and base are in very good original condition with expected, age related wear. Shock mounts appear to be original and do show some stress cracks but seem stable. Chair may be disassembled for shipping.
ARNE VODDER FOR SIBAST DANISH CONSOLE
Extremely rare design by one of the Danish masters, Arne Vodder. You'll occasionally see this without the speaker cabinets but this configuration is hard-to-come-by. The speakers and console do not appear to have ever housed components or electronics. Most likely dates to the early 1960s. Tagged Sibast and Made in Denmark. Console is in very good vintage condition with light age appropriate wear. Some light wear including discoloration to the top. It appears a hole was professionally drilled into one speaker cabinet's back at some point.
SET OF TEN J.L. MOLLER MODEL 71 DANISH MODERN TEAK DINING CHAIRS
Rare set of 10 Mollers in teak acquired from the original owner. These Model 71s date to the 1960s and feature a lovely, aged patina. Six of the chairs are covered in leather while four are covered in vinyl. All ten chairs are in very good condition. Price is for the set of ten. CHARLES & RAY EAMES FOR HERMAN MILLER RAR ZENITH ROPE EDGE ROCKING CHAIR
First edition pink/salmon fiberglass RAR rocker designed by Charles Eames for Zenith products. Excellent condition rope edge rocker completely original other than two screws that were replaced.
RENATO ZEVI FOR SELIG CHROME AND LEATHER ELLIPSE ROCKING CHAIR WITH OTTOMAN
Sexy and über comfortable modern tandem in chrome and leather. This 1970s stunner was lovingly redone in luxurious red Moore & Giles leather and looks and feels amazing. It is rare to find this model with the matching ottoman. Both pieces are in very nice condition with some minor wear to the chrome including a few small areas of oxidation and pitting.
AMAZING MID CENTURY MODERN BUBBLE LAMP IN THE STYLE OF GEORGE NELSON
One of the most interesting lamps we've offered is this George Nelson style lamp featuring a solid brass tripod base and an amazing orange bubble or balloon style shade. The machining on this piece is of the highest quality and it is definitely old. We've searched extensively but have not been able to ID this unique piece. Lamp has been tested and works but we recommend all vintage lighting be checked out by an electrician for safety reasons.
ARNE HOVMAND OLSEN FOR MOGENS KOLD TEAK & TILE DANISH MODERN COFFEE TABLE
Outstanding and rare version of the stylish Hovmand Olsen coffee table. Made in Denmark in 1964, this single owner table is an interior designer's dream. Table is in very good condition with minor surface wear. The wicker shelf is sturdy but does have a few small breaks.
ARREODOLUCE MARBLE AND BRASS MID CENTURY MODERN FLOOR LAMP
Stunning floor lamp attributed to Italian maker of fine lighting, Arreodoluce. This lovely design likely dates to the 1970s and features a striking marble shelf and a brass base. The lamp has been outfitted with a high quality silk shade which will be included if the buyer desires. Lamp is in good vintage condition with some patina to the brass and one very small chip to the marble edge (approx 1/8").
ILMARI TAPIOVAARA ROCKING CHAIR
Classic design executed by one of the great Finnish designers. Rocker is in good vintage condition and structurally sound. The light wood shows some wear to include scratches and darker areas. Some spindles are slightly loose but none are cracked or broken. Please see all pictures.
MID CENTURY DANISH MODERN HANGING WALNUT BARZILAY STYLE STEREO CONSOLE
Beautiful mid century console featuring rich walnut ready to be outfitted with your components. This may be a Barzilay cabinet but we have been unable to identify the manufacturer. The cabinet has a hanging cleat on the backside for easy hanging. Cabinet exterior is in very good vintage condition with some surface wear to include scratches and light discoloration. The interior components have been removed with the exception of the phonograph. The phonograph is a vintage Garrard and has not been tested. The interior does have some staining to the cork areas.
